The Center for Nanomaterials & Nanocomposites focuses on research and development of design, fabrication processes, properties and applications of versatile nanomaterials and nanocomposites, as building blocks to trigger an advancement of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The main directions of research and development areas are as following,
- Design, syntheses and properties of low dimensional (0D, 1D, 2D) nanomaterials, such as nanoparticles, nanotubes, nanofibers, nanoplatelets and nanosheets, etc.
- Design, fabrication processes and properties of versatile types of low dimensional nanomaterials filled nanocomposites with various matrices of polymers, metals and ceramics.
- Design, fabrication processes and development of new nanomaterials and outstanding nanocomposites for advanced structural and functional applications.
