Instrument introduction:Lambda365 dual-beam ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer can provide light wave scanning range, including ultraviolet (wavelength 190~380 nm) and visible and near infrared spectroscopy (wavelength 380~1100 nm). There are two detectors (photodiodes), and the sample and reference beam are measured at the same time. The reference beam intensity is taken as 100% transmittance (or 0 absorbance), and the measured value displayed is the ratio of the two beam intensities. The main principles are the valence electron energy level transition theory and the Lambert-Beer law of light absorption. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of compounds can be carried out through the UV-VIS absorption spectra of chromophores of organic or inorganic compounds. The sample types are liquid and solid, and are generally dilute liquid solutions.
