Instrument introduction:Metal X is a metal 3D printer using Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing (ADAM) technology, which can print excellent mechanical parts. (ADAM) Distribute the metal powder into the resin binder to help shape the metal powder. After the molding, the resin binder is removed. After the non-metallic binder is removed, the metal forms the desired shape, and the later sintering process This ensures uniform strength in the XYZ direction of the part. The main process is as follows: 1. Use common 3D modeling software (such as SolidWorks, UG, CATIA, PRO/E, etc.) to build the model, and export it as an STL file from the software. 2. The Eiger 3D printing application software dedicated to Markforged will enlarge the STL file to a certain ratio, and then print the "green mold" through Metal X. 3. Soak the printed "green mold" in the cleaning equipment to remove the excess resin binder to obtain the "brown mold". In this process, a unique soaking liquid and unique technology are used to ensure that the excess resin binder can be quickly removed, and at the same time, the metal powder will not be scattered. But this step does not completely remove all resin materials. 4. Enter the sintering furnace for sintering. This step is similar to metal injection molding (MIM). After sintering, the "brown mold" will shrink and become the final part.
