Metallographic Microscope(Leica DM4M)

Time:2021-10-15Author:Click:

Instrument introduction:Leica dm4m digital metallographic microscope combines optical microscope technology, photoelectric conversion technology and computer image processing technology, which can easily observe metallographic images on the computer. With the illumination manager and contrast manager, it can automatically identify the selected phase contrast method and the objective lens in use, accurately open or close the aperture diaphragm and field diaphragm, and automatically adjust the light intensity. The setting parameters of the coding control function can be stored together with the image to ensure the reproducibility of the image. It is applicable to the field of material science and quality control. It mainly reflects and characterizes the number, morphology, size, distribution, orientation, spatial arrangement, etc. of phase and microstructure components, grains (including possible subcrystals), non-metallic inclusions and even some crystal defects (such as dislocations).
