Instrument introduction:Malvern NANO ZSE is a high-performance dual-angle particle size and zeta potential analyzer. The principle of measuring particle size is dynamic light scattering method. By measuring the diffusion of moving particles under Brownian motion, and using the Stokes-Einstein equation to transform it into particle size and particle size distribution. The built-in non-invasive backscatter technology (NIBS) enables the system to have the highest sensitivity and the highest particle size and concentration range. The principle of measuring molecular zate potential is laser Doppler microelectrophoresis. The zeta potential molecules and particles perform electrophoretic motion under the action of an applied electric field, and their motion speed is directly related to the zeta potential. The patented laser coherence technology M3-PALS (phase analysis light Scattering method) to detect its rate. So as to realize the calculation of electrophoretic mobility, and obtain the distribution of eta potential and ZETA potential. It can be used to measure small-sized or diluted samples, as well as very low-concentration or high-concentration liquid samples.

Technical parameter:

1. Particle size and molecular size

Measuring range:0.3nm-10.0 microns* (diameter)

Minimum sample volume:12μL

Accuracy is better than ±2% of NIST traceable latex standard

Sensitivity:0.1mg/mL (lysozyme)

The sample concentration range is 0.01mg/mL to 5%w/v (depending on particle size)

2. Zeta potential

Measuring range: 3.8nm-100μm (diameter)

The minimum sample volume is 15μL (20μL, using diffusion barrier method)

Accuracy 0.12μm.cm/V.s, for water-based systems, using NIST SRM1980 standard reference materials

Sensitivity: 10mg/ml
